Trenzzo Drycleaners wasn't built overnight in a boardroom, over a business plan, or on the back of a slide deck. It was built the hard way — sleeve by sleeve, order by order, and mistake by mistake — inside laundry stores that belonged to someone else, long before any of it belonged to us. Every business claims an origin story. Ours simply happens to be true, and it started with nothing more than a willingness to learn a trade most people never think twice about.

Co-Founder, Trenzzo Drycleaners
In 2018, our founders walked into The Laundry not as owners, but as someone willing to learn an industry from the ground up. Laundry looks deceptively simple from the outside — clothes go in dirty, they come out clean. But anyone who has actually stood behind a laundry counter knows the truth: this is a business built on details most customers never see and rarely think about.
Over the next three years, that apprenticeship became an education no classroom could ever offer. It meant learning which fabrics could survive a hard wash and which needed a far gentler hand. It meant understanding how a single missed stain, a mismatched delivery, or a late pickup could quietly break a customer's trust in seconds — trust that had taken months to earn. It meant learning to talk to a nervous customer dropping off a wedding sherwani, a child's freshly stitched school uniform, or a father's favourite old jacket, and treating every single piece with the same seriousness as if it were priceless — because to that customer, it often was.
None of these were lessons written down in a manual. They were lessons earned one shift at a time, standing at the counter, folding, pressing, listening, and quietly absorbing everything the business had to teach. By the end of that chapter, one thing had become unmistakably clear: this was never just a job to get through. It was a craft, and it was one worth mastering properly.
Knowing a trade and actually running a business are two very different things, and that gap closed fast at the end of 2021, when the opportunity came to take charge of full store operations at Shivay Drycleaners. This was not an assistant's role, and it was not a supervised position with someone else quietly watching over every decision. It was the real thing: managing an entire store single-handedly, from the first customer walking in each morning to the last delivery going out at night.
Running a laundry business independently means wearing every hat at once, often on the same afternoon. Some days meant negotiating with suppliers over the rising cost of detergent and packaging. Other days meant calming down a customer whose garment had come back with a stubborn stain, and figuring out, right there on the spot, how to make it right without losing their trust. It meant managing staff, managing schedules, managing customer expectations, and managing the dozens of small emergencies that never once show up in a business plan or a training manual. There was no senior manager to escalate a problem to, and no safety net to fall back on. Every outcome, good or bad, belonged entirely to the person making the decision.
That period tested patience in ways no job description could capture, sharpened judgment through sheer repetition, and quietly built something no training program can ever teach: the calm, practical confidence that comes only from having actually done the work — under real pressure, without shortcuts, and without anyone else around to take the blame or the credit.
Somewhere in the middle of managing someone else's business so closely, a different and far more personal question started to take shape: what if a store carried my own name, my own standards, and my own promise to every single customer, instead of someone else's? Years spent watching what genuinely worked, what customers actually valued when nobody was forcing them to say so, and which corners other businesses were quietly willing to cut, had already built a very clear picture of what a laundry business should look like.
That question eventually turned into a decision, and that decision became Trenzzo Drycleaners — not as a copy of anything that came before it, but as a business built specifically to close the gaps that years of hands-on, unglamorous experience had made painfully obvious. Gaps around honest communication. Gaps around punctuality. Gaps around the simple, almost old-fashioned idea that a business should handle a customer's belongings with exactly the same care it would want shown to its own.
The name on the door may be new. The experience standing behind it is anything but.
Every laundry business in every city makes roughly the same promises: clean clothes, delivered on time, at a fair and honest price. What actually separates the businesses customers trust for years from the ones they merely tolerate for a season is whether those promises are still kept when nobody happens to be watching. That is the exact standard Trenzzo Drycleaners is built around and held to, every single day.
It shows up in small, unglamorous, almost invisible ways. Itemizing every garment carefully at pickup, so nothing ever gets lost or mixed up in the shuffle of a busy day. Treating a single delicate silk saree with precisely the same seriousness as a large bulk load of everyday cottons. Being upfront and honest when something genuinely cannot be done — whether that's a stain that won't fully lift or a fabric too fragile for a particular treatment — instead of overpromising now and disappointing later. Showing up on time, consistently, because a missed pickup or a late delivery is never just a minor inconvenience — for a customer who planned their entire day around it, it is a broken promise.
None of this is glamorous, and it was never meant to be. It is simply what years spent on every side of the counter — first as an employee learning the ropes, then as a manager carrying full responsibility, and now as an owner building something permanent — made unmistakably clear was non-negotiable from day one.
Started out at The Laundry, learning the fundamentals of garment care and the day-to-day realities of running a laundry business from the ground up.
Took charge of full store operations at Shivay Drycleaners — handling everything hands-on, from customer relationships to daily management, and building the confidence to run a business independently.
That hands-on experience became the foundation for Trenzzo Drycleaners — a business built on one simple promise: never compromise on quality.
Trenzzo Drycleaners today is still, at its core, a single store built on a deeply personal journey. But the ambition behind it was never meant to stop at one counter or one neighbourhood in Raipur. The plan is to grow deliberately, one outlet at a time, one city at a time — the exact same way the experience behind this business was originally built: hands-on, one relationship at a time, without cutting the corners that so many fast-growing businesses are quietly tempted to cut along the way.
Every new outlet that opens under the Trenzzo name will be held to precisely the same standard as the very first one: honest pricing, careful handling of every single garment, and a level of service customers can genuinely rely on, order after order. Because growth without trust isn't really growth at all — it's simply risk, spread out across more locations. Building a brand that customers actively recommend to their neighbours, one satisfied pickup at a time, is worth doing slowly, and worth doing right.
This is more than a laundry service. It's a promise, built one wash at a time — and we're only just getting started.
Beyond doorstep service for homes, Trenzzo Drycleaners partners with hotels and businesses across Raipur for reliable, large-scale linen and garment care.
…and more hotels across Raipur.
